Grady Looney

Mr. Grady Looney, 76, of Colonial Dr. Colbert, GA husband of the late Ruby Elsie Couch Looney passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Hospital.

Grady was born May 6, 1948 in Madison County, GA to Luther Albert Looney and Liberty Bell Scoggins Looney. He was retired from the Omnisource Loaf Company.

He is survived by one sister: Edna May Looney Campbell of commerce and a great number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by brothers: Gary Looney, Early Joe Looney, Luther Allen Looney, and sisters: Bobbie Jean Looney Hunsinger, Gracie Looney Jones.

Grady's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Berry Funeral Home and Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Grady Looney.
