Gwendolyn Hall Herring Turner

Mrs. Gwendolyn Hall "Gwen" Herring Turner, 89, of Crestview Drive, Elberton, wife of the late Jerry Mack Turner, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, from 12:00p.m. until 1:30p.m. at Elberton Christian Church. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Kevin Vaughn, will follow at 2:00p.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in the Rock Branch Baptist Church cemetery alongside her husband and sons. The family is at the home of Stephen & Kathy Banks, 1767 Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton.

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to the Building Fund of Rock Branch Baptist Church, 2150 Coldwater Road, Elberton, GA 30635.
