Hiram Stefan Dubose

Mr. Hiram ‘Stefan’ Dubose, 64, of Elberton, died suddenly on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Born in Elberton on June 16, 1962, he was a son of the late Isaiah Robertson and Janie Ann Dubose. He was a 1980 graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive High School and served his country in the United States Army. Stefan was a member of Martin Grove Baptist Church and in his younger years enjoyed playing basketball.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Eugenia Dubose of Anderson, SC; grandchildren: Jayden Dubose and Nakiya Dubose; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may pay their respects and sign the guestbook on Friday, September 11, from 9:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Memorial services celebrating Stefan’s life will be conducted on Saturday, September 12, at 1:00p.m. at Martin Grove Baptist Church. Burial, alongside his mother, will follow in the church cemetery.
