Mr. Hugh Walter Payton, 65, of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Heardmont Nursing Home.
A native of Carrollton, he was a son of the late William Lynell Payton and Mary Lynnette Word Payton.
Private services will be held at the nursing home.
Berry Funeral Home & Crematory of Elberton is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Hugh Walter Payton.
