James Allen Pickhinke

James A. Pickhinke, of Elberton and Hastings, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Athens Piedmont Regional Hospital following an extended illness.  He turned 66 on Saturday.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Clarita Pickhinke; son, Joshua Pickhinke (girlfriend, Lyndsay Dau); two brothers, John Pickhinke (Catherine) and Mike Pickhinke (Jackie); seven sisters, Mina Will (Dick), Barb Sobota (Norm), Karen Terry (Doug), Debbie Tomcak (Dave), Betty Marxsen (Jim), Theresa Vernoy (Ken), and Deann Silverster (Terry); and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is planned at a later date in Nebraska.
