Janet Kent Bonner

Janet Kent Bonner, age 76, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023.

Janet was born in Athens to the late Harvey Lee Kent and Marjorie "Peggy" Bone Kent.  She was a dedicated homemaker whose world revolved around the lives of her children.  Janet loved music, especially soul.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Kent Hancock; and brother, Jeff Kent.

She is survived by her three children, Eric Abernathy (Laura) of Myrtle Beach, Angie Collins (Shane) of Carlton, and Mitzi Gabriel of Danielsville; grandchildren, Morgan Abernathy Harmer (Jeff), Madison Abernathy Small (Jeremy), Emmett Gabriel, and Leonard Collins (Madeline); great grandchildren, John Colton Wollard, Everly Anne Harmer, Nora Jane Collins, Brandon Bonner, and Eli Huth; and sister Jeannie Lee (Ron).

Interment will be private.
