Janet Frances Davis Grizzell

Mrs. Janet Frances Davis Grizzell, 80, of Canon, formerly of Dewy Rose, wife of the late Alvin Mitchell "Boggie" Grizzell, I, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Janet was born in London, England on October 17, 1945, daughter of the late David Samuel Davis and Frances Ann Rowe Davis. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her children: Alvin Mitchell “Mitch” Grizzell, II (Anna Marie Webb), Dwayne Grizzell (Bettie Ruth), Lester P Grizzell (Donna Gaddy), Tonya Ann Grizell Peltz (Darryl), Michael Grizzell (Kimberly), and Timmy Evans (Gail); siblings: Linda Loftis, Connie Nelson, and Mike Davis; and grandchildren: Sheena Murphy, Chris Peltz, Meghan Trowman, Jenna Grizzell, Jasmine Wise, Candy Murphy, Dustin Evans, Andrea Morrison, Ryker Wright, Landon Grizzell, Nyla Wright, and Bryer Maxwell, Kyla Peltz, Caylei Boles, James Peltz, Chloe Peltz, Reagan Murphy, Breelee Murphy, Kayden Trowman, Brantley Trowman, Finnley Wise, Hadley Wise.

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, David Edward Grizzell; daughter, Patricia Frances Davis; grandson, Hunter Grizzell; and brother, Donnie Davis.
