Mr. Jeffery Wood “Tull” Eaves, 65, of Washington Highway, Elberton, husband of 27 years to the late Vicki LaNeil Blakemore Eaves, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his residence.

Jeffery was born in Elberton on April 20, 1958, only child of the late Frank King “F.K” Eaves, Jr. and Charlene Wood Eaves. He was a graduate of Elbert County High School and spent his career as a truck driver, mostly for Gaines Monument Company. Additionally, he worked in the shed at Wiles Granite Company. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR, the news, and crime shows on television. His passion was truck driving and he loved his family dearly.

Surviving are three children and their spouses: Angie and Sam Hill of Comer, Christopher and Bridgette Eaves of Bowman, and Kevin and Lili Eaves of Elberton; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his canine companion, Bandit.

A time of visitation celebrating Jeffery’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Grizzard Cemetery in El Paso, AR with his beloved Vicki.
