JoAnn James McGarity

JoAnn James McGarity, 81, of Elberton GA, passed away on August 15, 2022. 

JoAnn was the daughter of the late Omie and Ruth James. She was married to the late Van Marion McGarity.

In addition to her parents and her husband, JoAnn is preceeded in death by her children; James McGarity, infant son and infant daughter.

JoAnn's survivors include her children; Mark McGarity and Liane (Lane) Lee; grandchildren; Mark McGarity Jr., Thomas Bradley Childs, James Madison Lee, Ashley Miller, and Shena Miller; and five great-grandchildren.

The service for JoAnn will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 2:30pm at Hicks Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm at Hicks Funeral Home. Interment is to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery. Rev. Andrew Danals officiating.
