Johnny Lewis Begley

Mr. Johnny Lewis Begley, 71, of Athens, GA passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Begley was born October 4, 1954 in Austin, IN to A.D. Begley and Thelma Lois Bowling Begley. He was retired from the USPS after 20 plus years of service. After, retirement he fulfilled his dream of owning and operating a store where he opened Begley Mercantile in Elberton, GA.

To honor Johnny's wishes he will lie in state from 6PM to 8PM Sunday evening November 2, 2025 at Berry Funeral Home where family and friends can visit and say goodbye.
