Joseph Ralph Schuler was born on August 12,1963. He lived most of his young life in Elberton, Ga. He served as a special deputy and directed traffic for school events such as ball games and parades.
Following most of his family with a desire to serve his country, Joseph enlisted in the Army. Sadly, he received an Honorable medical discharge. He is best known as being a shadow to Doug Anderson at his Barber Shop. He followed his best friend to Heaven three days later on December 18, 2020, in Hospice in Washington, D.C. Years have passed since Joseph mysterious disappeared from Elberton. Family located him in Washington, D.C. only three years ago.
Joseph is survived by two sisters: Nancy (Wayne) Kennedy of Callahan, FL and Goldie Schuler of New Mexico. He is predeceased by his parent, Frank & Mildred Schuler; two brothers: Wilbur "Will" Schuler and Frank Schuler; and two sisters: Agnes Schuler and Frances Harris.
