Joyce Annelle White

Ms. Joyce Annelle White, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Elberton community, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025 near Braselton, Georgia at the age of 83.

Known for her chocolate delight cake and creative spirit, Joyce had a lifelong love of cooking, sewing, and crafting. Her talents brought joy not only to her family but also to the many guests who stayed at Rainbow Manor, the bed and breakfast she lovingly owned and operated for many years in Elberton, Georgia. Her hospitality and care made Rainbow Manor a treasured haven for travelers and locals alike.

Joyce is survived by her son, Franklin Lee Turner, and his wife Melissa Veal Turner. She also leaves behind two adored grandchildren, Rushton Turner and husband Brian Barry of Alexandria, Virginia and Franklin Turner and fiancée Alexandra Linne of Gulf Port, Mississippi, who brought her endless pride and joy.

Family visitation will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at New Bethel United Methodist Church in Elberton, Georgia, with a funeral service held at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Joyce White’s life was a conglomeration of laughter, creativity, and service to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
