June Cleveland Childs

Mrs. June Cleveland Childs, 72, of Montevideo Rd. Elberton, GA passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Childs was born July 28, 1953 in Elberton, GA to June Cleveland and Charlotte Edwards Cleveland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elberton and was a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years John Lagrand Childs, III; son and daughter-in-law: John L. Childs, IV and Alley; daughter and son-in-law: Elizabeth Martin and Darius, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte Childs and brother Clark Cleveland.
