Kristi Lanette Anderson Darracott

Mrs. Kristi Lanette Anderson Darracott, 51, of Washington, wife of Jason D. Darracott, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta.

Born in Elberton on March 10, 1975, Kristi completed the family of Davis Lanier Anderson and Sandra Diane Moore Anderson. She was a 1993 graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive High School and furthered her education at Brenau University in Gainesville where she received her Bachelors of Nursing and enjoyed her membership of Alpha Chi Omega.

Kristi dedicated her life to nursing. She loved the challenges it presented, but most importantly loved helping others. Kristi never missed an opportunity to further her education, gaining as much knowledge as possible to help serve others. She was presently employed at Wellstar MCG Health, Lake Oconee, where she worked as Clinical Coordinator.

Kristi was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She was an animal lover. Kristi loved fast cars and muscle cars, and her happy place was at the beach. Her infectious smile lit up any room in which she entered. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Washington and grew up attending Doves Creek Baptist Church in Elberton.

In addition to her husband of 11 years, Jason, Kristi is survived by two daughters: Belle Bradford and Kinleigh Daracott; siblings: Vernon and Tina Anderson, Patti Johnson, and Barry and Tracey Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Kristi's life will be conducted on Saturday, March 21, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, with the Revs. Paul Wright and Brian George officiating.
