Larry Don Jones

Mr. Larry Don Jones, 80, of Dr. George Ward Road, Elberton, GA, passed away Wednesday October 22, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital.

Mr. Jones was born January 3, 1945, in Elberton, GA to Earnest Tillman Jones and Elizabeth Payton Jones. He was a member of Vans Creek Baptist Church and was a farmer and stone cutter. 

He is survived by his sister, Mayo Shedd of Augusta; one step-son: one step-grandchild; and many nephews and nieces. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Elizabeth Johnson Jones; and siblings: Juanita Attaway, Alton "Sonny" Jones, Conrad Jones, Pat Jones, Allen Jones, and Ben Jones.

Funeral services to celebrate Larry's life will be held 2PM, Sunday, October 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends from 12PM to 1:45PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
