Larry Wayne Sartain

Mr. Larry Wayne Sartain, 79, of Elberton, GA passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Mr. Sartain was born in Franklin County, GA on December 28, 1946, son of the late Carson William Sartain and Nancy Jane Dobbs Sartain. He was an entrepreneur and member of the Royston First United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Lainey White; brother, Byron Carson Sartain; and sister, Connie Sartain Darr.

Survivors include his wife, Revonda Pruitte Sartain; son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Tammy Sartain of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Dylan Wayne Sartain (Stephanie), Meredith Lee White (Avery), Ian Pruitte Sartain, Jake Newton, and Casie Burns (Garson); and great-grandchildren, Esme Sartain, Oliver Sartain and Fisher Burns.

A graveside service for Mr. Sartain will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in the Franklin Memorial Gardens- South in Royston.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, August 29. During other times, the family will be at their respective homes.
