Mr. Larry Wayne King, Sr., 78 , of Bridges Rd., Carlton, GA passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his home.

Mr. King was born September 8, 1941 in Madison County, GA to Henry Grady King and Lillian Estelle Kincaid King. He was a member of Vesta Baptist Church, Gideons International and the Lions Club. Mr. King was an retired insurance agent where he owned and operated King Insurance and an ordained minister. He also served his country in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.

He is survived by his wife Sheila Tiller King; son and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Jennifer King of Carlton, GA; and grandchildren: Breanna, Bryson, Jenna, Riley and Blaine and numerous extended family.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers William King and Joe King.

Funeral services will be held 1PM, Tuesday, November 26 at Vesta Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Bruce officiating. Interment will follow in Colbert City Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 11AM to 12:45 at Vesta Baptist Church just prior to the service.

Flowers are optional and memorials can be made in his memory to either Vesta Baptist Church or T.J. & Friends Foundation, PO Box 6161 Elberton, GA 30635.
