Lindell Carrol Collins

Lindell Carrol Collins, age 74, passed away on October 13, 2025 in Athens Ga., surrounded by his loving wife and children.

A native of Wyatt, Mo., Lindell was the son of the late Lindell Roscoe and Claire Mae Gammons Collins.

Lindell was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Doran and a sister Judith Ann Collins.

Lindell was a US Army and Marine Corp Veteran. He loved his family, American history, watching Westerns, cooking, eating, and traveling. He was a truck driver who made multiple trips coast to coast during his 20 year career listening to The Beach Boys and Jan and Dean.

Survivors include his wife; Linda Horbinski Collins; children; Nicole (Curby) Wheeler, Melissa (Daniel) Zaffrann, Robert (Martha) Collins, Kevin Doran; sisters; Linda Massey, Myrtle Jurgens; 16 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
