Mr. Lucas Edward Stowers, age 36 of Oak Valley Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Emory University Hospital Atlanta.

A son of Eddie and Mary Reid Stowers, he was born June 11, 1987 in Oconee County, South Carolina having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He owned and operated LS Performance and was also employed as a mechanic with Larry’s Service Center and loved working with Larry and Danny. He loved spending time with his wife, Brittney, and kids, Luke and Harper. He loved hunting, classic cars, motorcycles, going on vacations, rod runs and riding the Can-Am. He was always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and attended The Torch Church.


Survivors include his parents, Eddie and Mary Reid Stowers of Toccoa; his wife of the home, Brittney Hanson Stowers; children, Harper Stowers and Luke Ausborn of the home; sister, and brother-in-law, Amy Elizabeth Salinas and Ruben of Toccoa; nieces, Ellie Salinas, Molly Clardy, Marlee Harrison and Lincoln Harrison; mother-in-law, Tammy Hanson of Toccoa; late father-in-law, Richard Hanson; sisters-in-law, Tambi (Ben) Clardy of Toccoa and Lindsey (Matt) Harrison of Jefferson; uncles and aunt, Richard Reid, Michael Reid, Dean Reid, Eddie Reid, Terry Stowers, Hal Stowers and Rachel Taylor and numerous cousins.


Graveside services will be Thursday, March 7, 2024, 4 o’ clock p.m. at the residence, 4373 Oak Valley Road, Toccoa with The Reverend Johnny Johnson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Eddie Stowers, Ruben Salinas, Kenny Rice, Curtis Cobb, Rusty Cheek, Dustin Keeling, Jason Jones, Kris Reid, Steven Purcell and Matt Harrison. His friends will serve as honorary.


Everyone wanting to be in the procession to the graveside should be at the funeral home by 3:00 on Thursday 


The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.


Interment will follow in the Stowers Family Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Lucas Edward Stowers.
