Marion O'Neal Allen, Sr.

Mr. Marion O’Neal Allen, Sr., 69, of Washington, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at PruittHealth in Washington. 

Marion was born in Washington on June 7, 1955, son of the late Bobby Willis and Vernell Allen Holland. He worked as a brick mason. 

Surviving are his children: Marion Allen, Jr. of Athens, Christopher Walton of Conyers, Erica Taylor of Athens, and Monica Simmons of Athens; and brother Ricky Eberhart. 

Funeral services celebrating Marion’s life will be conducted on Saturday, March 1, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Public viewing will begin at 1:00p.m. just prior to the service.
