Martin Everett Hicks

Mr. Martin Everett Hicks, 71, of Lavonia, husband of 46 years to Cheryl Anne Wright Hicks, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Hicks was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, on November 20, 1946, son of the late Robert E. Hicks and Juanita Mundell Hicks. He was a retired clerk and a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl and son, Christopher Martin Hicks.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Gary Hicks and all his siblings.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, October 15, at 9 o'clock in the morning from Franklin County Church of Christ. Burial will follow at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
