Marvin W. Hanson

Mr. Marvin W. Hanson, 85, of Reese St. Elberton, GA passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Hanson was born April 17, 1939 in Hampton, VA to Arthur M. Hanson and Florence Cagle Hanson. He was a retired carpenter and a member of West End Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Eunice Turner Hanson; sons and daughter-in-law: Buddy and Teresa Hanson, Nicholas Hanson; daughter and son-in-law: Robin and Ron Hartley; brother: Mack Hanson; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services to celebrate Mr. Hanson’s life will be held 3PM, Friday, May 10, 2024 at Elmhurst Cemetery with Rev. Richard Fife officiating. The family will be at the residence on Reese St.
