Mary Doris Brown Henderson

Mary Doris Brown Henderson, 78, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at her residence. A native of Cobb County, Georgia, she was born to the late Clayton and Villa Castile Brown on January 12, 1934. Mrs. Henderson was a member of South Summerville Baptist Church and was retired from Bigelow-Sanford Mill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Olin Curtis Henderson, Jr.; son, Wayne Henderson; and sister, Melba Harp. Surviving are her children, Donald Henderson of Commerce, Georgia, formerly of Elberton, and Patsy Gottwald of Naples, Florida; siblings, Jean Welch, Fleasha Gomez, Peggy Jenkins, Bunzie Simpson, and Kenny Brown, all of Atlanta; grandchildren, Matthew Henderson, Kecia James, Amber Henderson, Shannon Lewallen, Brandon Oneal, Mark Oneal, Anna Lisa Gottwald, Alex Gottwald, Cortney Henderson, Amanda Henderson, and Marissa Henderson; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held Saturday, June 23rd, at 2:00 P.M. from the J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. David Huggins officiating. Interment in Green Hills Memory Garden. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until service hour at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.
