Mary Elizabeth Terrell

Mary Elizabeth Terrell, 63, of Fork Creek Road, Bowman, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Oaks of Athens. 

Libby, as she was affectionately known to her family, was born in Buford on January 10, 1961, to Loyd Alfred Terrell and Sarah Elizabeth Simmons Terrell. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church and had worked as a biscuit maker at Bojangles in Elberton. She loved animals, and especially loved riding horses. 

She is survived by her mother, Sarah, and is preceded in death by her father, Alfred, and sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Boone Drake. 

Memorial services celebrating her life will be conducted on Thursday, April 11, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. 

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Deep Creek Baptist Church, 2335 Deep Creek Road, Dewy Rose, GA 30634.
