Michael David Nation

Mr. Michael David Nation, 69, of Onnie Colquitt Rd. Crawford, GA passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Nation was born February 24, 1952 in Athens, GA to John Henry Nation and Mary Louise Whelless Nation. He attended Sandy Cross Baptist Church and was a retired steel worker.

He is survived his wife: Cheryl Sue Moss Nation; son: Matthew Mell Henry Nation of Carlton, GA; daughter: Tina Michelle Dooley of Crawford, GA; brothers: Randy Nation, Jerry Nation, Jeff Nation all of Crawford, GA; grandchildren: Kaylyn Young, Kelsie Nation, Karli Slayton, Mara Dooley, Audra Dooley, Bennett Dooley and great-granddaughter: Mattison Kate Slayton.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at Sandy Cross Baptist Church 1PM, Saturday September 18 with Rev. Rodney Williams and Rev. Calvin Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Sandy Cross Baptist Church.
