Moriah Lane Mills

Miss Moriah Lane Mills, age 31, of Elberton, departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Moriah was born in Royston on October 1, 1994, daughter of Terral Lane "Terry" Mills and Lisa Joyce Comolli. She completed the loving family, joining her older sisters, Holly and Cana, who adored her from the very beginning. Moriah’s greatest joy arrived on May 9, 2019, when she welcomed her son, Journey Trustin Mills, into the world. She cherished him deeply, and he became the center of her heart, pride, and purpose. Her heart belonged to him.

She worked as an assembly line worker at SMI Composites in Comer and loved her job. Moriah was a member of Christian Worship Assembly in Hartwell where she enjoyed serving as an usher. She loved playing basketball and was an avid reader. Moriah enjoyed spending time with children, playing with them and making them feel as if they were the most important person in the world. She loved helping others and volunteering with SafeHouse Ministries.

Moriah is survived by her son, Journey Trustin Mills; parents, Terry Mills and Leigh Dye, and Lisa Comolli; and sisters, Holly Mills and Cana Mills.

A celebration of Moriah's life will be held on Sunday, December 7, at 4:00p.m. at Celebration Outreach Center. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

Moriah will be remembered for her out going spirit, her unforgettable sense of humor, and adventurous mind that kept life exciting. She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her memory with them and honor the light she brought into their lives. May her soul rest peacefully, and may her love continue to live on through her son and all who knew her.
