Myrtle Waters Pless

Mrs. Myrtle Waters Pless, 68, of Cherokee Road, Elberton, wife of the late Charles Edward Pless, Sr., passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pless was born on November 26, 1945, in Calhoun Falls, SC to the late Hubert Waters and Polly Parnell Waters. She was a retired weaver. Left to cherish her memories are children: Charles E. Pless, Jr. and Stacey Pless Collins, both of Elberton; siblings: Peggy Roper of Atlanta and Della Haynes of Honea Path, SC; four grandchildren: Robert Collins, Tessa Collins, Brandon Whitaker, and Isabella Pless; and two great-grandchildren: Lexie Collins and Aubree Collins. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 21, at 2:30p.m. in the Gaines Chapel Church in Hart County.
