Nancy Lee McCray

Nancy Lee McCray, age 79, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at her residence.  

Nancy was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Alfred Babb and Sarah Lee Lollis Babb.  Artistically inclined, Nancy enjoyed making necklaces out of beads she colored herself.  And anyone who knew Nancy would know she could be found in front of a good soap opera in the afternoons. 

She had a sweet spirit and never met a stranger.  She leaves behind her love for all her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four sons, David Edward Balentine, Roy Balentine, Don Balentine, and Randy Balentine.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Smith (Cory Graham); companion, Andrew Martin;  four grandchildren, Franklin Stewart III, Amber Stewart, Jessica Stewart, and JoEdward Stewart; seven great grandchildren, Jonathan Garcia, Khloe Garcia, Neveah Stewart, Trinity Stewart, Chanity Stewart, Nyla Stewart, and Bryson Stewart.  Nancy also leaves behind her four canine babies, Heavenly Star, Rosie, Cashew, and Blackie.
