Nelda Margaret Haynes Dickson

Mrs. Nelda Margaret Haynes Dickson, 87, of Royston, GA passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Brown Health and Rehabilitation Center in Royston, GA.

Mrs. Dickson was born in Elberton, GA on September 7, 1935, daughter of the late Alfred Haynes and the Emma Edwards Haynes. She was an office assistant having worked for Douglas Dickson Insurance Company. Mrs. Dickson was also a member of the Royston Baptist Church and Royston-Franklin Springs Pilot Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Douglas Dickson, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Doug Dickson (Carol) of Hickory, NC and Richard Dickson (Barbara) of Royston, GA; brother, David Haynes (Jeri) of Arlington, TX; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciate to the staff of Brown Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care during the last 9 years.

A graveside service for Mrs. Dickson will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022.

In lieu of flowers; the family request that memorials be made to Royston Baptist Church at 767 Church Street Royston, GA 30662.
