Patricia Ann Morrison Bates

Mrs. Patricia Ann Morrison Bates 79, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her residence. 

Mrs. Bates was born in Paulding County on May 14, 1945, daughter of the late James Norman Morrison and Effie Mae Carnes Morrison. She worked as a certified nursing assistant, certified public accountant, and as a secretary for the US Army. 

Surviving are her daughter, Regina Bates(Jeremy Gilmer); and three grandchildren: Wesley Bufford, Hanna Bufford, and Steven Nunn along with one niece, and several great nieces, great great nieces and nephews, and one great great great nephew. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: D.C. Morrison and Horace Morrison, nephew Jimmy Morrison and husband Steve Elliot Bates.
