Patricia Joanne "Pat" Hames Duren

Mrs. Patricia Joanne “Pat” Hames Duren, 86, of Brookside Drive, Elberton, wife of Billy Wayne “Bill” Duren, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Duren was born in Atlanta on September 1, 1940, daughter of the late Joseph Harold Hames and Iris Sparks Hames. She worked as a bank teller.

Surviving, in addition to her husband Bill, are her children: David Duren and Dana Moyers and her husband Ricky; siblings: Stella Oliver and Marie Hughett; three grandchildren: Lindsay Ragan, Kacey Johnson, and Devyn Gawan; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
