Patricia Margaret Moon

Patricia Margaret Moon, age 68, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025. 

Born on February 27, 1957, in Atlanta, Patricia was the daughter of the late William and Natalie Moon.

Pat, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her beloved brother, Michael Moon, and sister-in-law, Kathie Moon; her cherished nephews, Christopher Moon (and his wife Jennifer), Gregory Moon ( and his wife Sasha), and four grandnieces: Angela, Ashley, Sarah, and Natalie. 

She was deeply loved by her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Headland High School in East Point, GA, Pat went on to earn her undergraduate degree Suma Cum Laude from Georgia State University and her law degree from the University of Georgia, graduating Cum Laude and becoming a member of the Georgia State Bar in 1982, leading to a lifelong commitment to her profession. As an attorney, Pat made a lasting impact in and around the Atlanta area, where she built a reputation as a diligent, respected, and caring professional.Pat’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her work, family, and friends, touched the lives of many. 

Her generous spirit and love for those closest to her will never be forgotten.

Pat’s funeral service was held on Sunday, August 3 in Elberton, GA, where she was laid to rest next to her parents.
