Paul Robert Rowe

Paul Robert Rowe, 70, of Anderson, SC and formerly of Hartwell, GA, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026, at NHC Healthcare of Anderson.

Born in Bridgeport, Alabama, he was the son of the late John and Bonnie White Rowe. He received a Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was pastor at Unity Baptist Church in Royston, GA and served briefly as a missionary in Moldova. Upon returning, he was a bivocational pastor serving at Calvary Baptist Church in Elberton, GA and worked for Woodmen of the World. After retiring, he was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Cheek Rowe; daughters, Bethany Rowe Templeton (John), Lindsay Rowe Newberry (Brandon), Robin Isom, and Kelli Isom Marett (Todd); 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Rowe.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jonathan Peppers, Rev. Terry Meeks, and Dr. Philip Blankenship. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International or the Alzheimer's Association .
