Ralene Frankie Allred Byrd

Mrs. Ralene Frankie Allred Byrd, 82, of Elberton, wife of 53 years to the late Donald Franklin Byrd, Sr., passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Hartwell Health & Rehabilitation Center, where she had been lovingly cared for during the last three years. 

Ralene was born in Price, UT on February 2, 1943, daughter of the late Warren Allred and Frankie Mathena Allred. She was the owner/operator of Rae's Business World in Elberton for many years. Rae loved fishing and as an avid reader. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing BINGO and recently enjoyed doing so with her friends at the nursing home.

Surviving are her children: Lori Byrd Rose, Lonnie Byrd, and Lynda Byrd Moore; sister, Myrna Hancock; grandchildren: Byron Snellings, Alaina Hicks, and Kevin Byrd; and six great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Frankie; husband and best friend, Don; daughter, Tina Marie Byrd; granddaughter, Katie Snellings; and step-son, Donald Byrd, Jr. 

No services are planned.
