Ralph "Tiny" Warren Saxon

Mr. Ralph W. “Tiny” Saxon, age 72 of Elberton, died December 04, 2008. He was born in Elbert County to the late John Archie Saxon and Emma Lucille Dixon Saxon and was a lifetime member of Fortsonia Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ouida Ann Saxon. He is survived by his sons, Tim (his wife Ann) Saxon of Bogart, Kent A. (his wife Mary Elizabeth) Saxon, of Elberton; daughter, Suzanne (her husband Mike) Basham of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Kyle Saxon, Brandi Saxon, and Clay Carroll of Elberton, Kathryn Saxon of Bogart, Casey Basham of Watkinsville; sisters Maxine (her husband Wayne) Smith, and Kay (her husband Robert) Hufstetler, both of Elberton. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 7th, 3:00 P.M., in Fortsonia Baptist Church, with Reverends Martha Aenchbacher, Tim Adams, and Russell Moore officiating.Interment will follow at Fortsonia Community Cemetery.The family will receive friends Saturday evening 6-8-PM at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Mary’s Hospice House in care of Cindy Case, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, Georgia 30622.
