Raymond Homer Smith

Mr. Raymond Homer Smith, 78, loving husband of Jean Wynn Smith, of Easley, died Friday, December 1, 2017.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Milliard Kay and Emily Alene Smith.

Raymond was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and loved the outdoors.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by two daughters, Alice Laura Smith of Easley, and Rachel Smith Suttles (Ricky) of Elberton, GA; one granddaughter, Ashley Johnson (Matt) of Elberton, GA; one sister, Carolyn Smith Aiken; and two nephews, Bobby and Brian Aiken of Easley.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee, Northwest. Burial will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
