Robert Lee Ray

Mr. Robert Lee Ray, 69, of Bamboo Point, Hartwell, GA husband of Linda L. Branham Ray passed away Saturday January 10, 2015 at his home. Mr. Ray was born August 1, 1945 in Pikeville, KY to the late Fred Ray and LaRue Rowe Ray. He was U.S. Army Veteran serving during Vietnam and was a retired Service Technician-Installer from the telephone industry. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Linda L. Branham Ray of the home; son Robert Lee Ray, II of Gilbert, AZ; daughter Sheri Ferguson of Richmond, VA; step-daughter Lisa Gilbert of Richmond, KY; brother Richard Ray of Pikeville, KY; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Freddie Stewart. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date in Shelbianna, Kentucky.
