Roger Dale Grizzle

Mr. Roger Dale Grizzle, 68, of Hale Crossing, Royston, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Grizzle was born in Royston on September 12, 1956, son of the late Virgil Roosevelt Grizzle and Elsie Lou Gaddis Grizzle. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and a retired supervisor having worked at SSA Cooper with The Georgia Ports Authority.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Jenkins and her husband Allen of Rincon; grandchildren: Brittany, Katelyn, Jacob, Abbie, and Lucas; siblings: Mary Hart, Lois Bird, Betty Jean "Snuffy" Wynn, Helen Burt, Elizabeth “Gurtie” Burns, Jerry "Goat" Grizzle, and Donald Grizzle; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Brandy Chapman; and siblings: Benjamin Grizzle, Ellis Grizzle, and Diane Belk.

At Roger’s request, private family services will be held.
