Roger Wayne Thomasson

Mr. Roger Wayne Thomasson, 75, of Danburg Street, Tignall, husband of 50 years to the late Rebecca Elaine Thornton Thomasson, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Thomasson was born in Washington on July 25, 1943, son of the late Roger Wilson Thomasson and Geneva Rousey Thomason. He worked at Almar Manufacturing Company and was a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed tending to his flowers and vegetable gardens. He and Becky, along with Lewis Roane and others, jointly operated The Old Store, a gift shop, in Tiger, Georgia.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri Lynn Thomasson of Tignall.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Thomasson.

At his request, no services are planned and his cremated remains will be returned to Tiger, Georgia.
