Ronald Lee Lahr, Sr.

Mr. Ronald Lee Lahr, Sr., 79, of Bay Street, Millen, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at PruittHealth at Washington.

Mr. Lahr was born in Santa Cruiz, CA on July 10, 1944, son of the late William Arthur Lahr and Anna Mae Bishop Lahr. He was a truck driver having retired from JB Hunt and a veteran having served faithfully in the US Army. A simple man, Mr. Lahr enjoyed watching westerns in his spare time.

Surviving are his wife, Ethel Louise Joiner Lahr of Millen, GA; sons: Patrick Mark Lahr and his wife Robin of Washington, GA and Ronald Lee Lahr, Jr. of Millen, GA; step-daughters: Kim Wolfe and Sherry Reese, both of CA; sisters: Joyce Wallace and Shirley Redding, both of Redding, CA; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Bill Lahr, Wells Lahr, and Don Lahr.
