Russell LaMotte Williams

Mr. Russell LaMotte Williams, affectionately known as “Russ”, died suddenly but peacefully at his residence in Elberton, GA on Monday, August 17, 2026. He was 69, and the husband of Peggy George Worley Williams. 

A celebration of life service for Russ Williams will be conducted on Saturday, August 22, at 1:00p.m. in the Sanctuary at Hartwell First Methodist Church, officiated by Dr. R. Allan Stewart. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. The service will be live streamed on the church Facebook page. 

Flowers are accepted.
