Ruth Mildred Willett LaVere

Mrs. Ruth Mildred Willett LaVere, 94, of Cherokee Road, Elberton, wife of 70 years to Kenneth Marshall LeVere, Sr., passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at her residence.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6, from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and again on Thursday, May 7, from 11:00a.m. until 12:45p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Funeral services celebrating Ruth’s life will be conducted on Thursday, May 7, at 1:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, officiated by the Revs. James Gunn, Wesley Allen, and Randy LaVere, Jr.

Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with James LaVere, John LaVere, Jr., Greg Jackson, Randy LaVere, Jr., Ken Kelley, and John LeVere, III honored as pallbearers.
