Timothy Russell Case

Mr. Timothy Russell "Tim" Case, 69, of Cleveland Drive, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at University Health & Rehab in Athens.

Mr. Case was born on December 10, 1955 in Elberton, son of the late Alva Clinton Case and Bobbie Lucille Stratton Jones. He was a member of Celebration Outreach Center. Tim worked at Pilgrims Pride for 18 years, the Elbert County Road Department for 15 years, and worked for a brief time at the Elbert County Sheriff's Department. He served his community as a Elbert County Commissioner for 8 years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Anne "Pat" Stevens Case; son and daughter-in-law, John and Brittany Case of Elberton; siblings: Gail Byrum of Hartwell, Jan Mauldin of Hartwell, and Charles "Buddy" Case of Elberton; four grandchildren: Savannah, Kinsley, Lexi and Cayden; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Bertram DeWitt Jones.

A celebration of Tim's life will be conducted on Wednesday, May 21, at 2:00p.m. at Celebration Outreach Center. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00p.m. prior to the service. Burial preceded the service at Vans Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
