Velma Frances Menendez

Mrs. Velma Frances Bodie Menendez, 87, of Blue Hole Rd., Elberton, GA passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Mrs. Menendez was born May 2, 1933 in Plant City, FL to John Nathan Bodie and Votie Idell Cooper. She was a retired cafeteria hand from Tampa School Board.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Carol and Mike Franklin of Elberton, GA, Vivian and Randall Harris of Seffner, FL, son and daughter-in-law: Antonio and Teresa Menendez, Jr. of Elberton, GA, seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Menedez, Sr. and all of her siblings.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted in Tampa, FL with interment in Centro Asturiano Cemetery in Tampa, FL, Monday January 25, 2021.
