Vergil Paulette Johnson Epps

Mrs. Vergil Paulette Johnson Epps, 79, of Jones Chapel Shiloh Road, Danielsville, wife of the late Aubrey Lee Epps, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. 

Mrs. Epps was born in Elberton on May 4, 1946, daughter of the late Homer David Johnson and Betty Ruth Reagin Johnson. She was a waitress having worked at Waffle House and owner/operator of Epps Painting Company. 

Surviving are her children: Jason Lobner and Jamie Parham; sisters: Darlene Roach and Kay Parker; brother, David Johnson, Sr.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. 

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Hinton, Jr.; and brother, Phillip Johnson.
