Virgil Gene "Greg" Kenney

Mr. Virgil Gene "Greg" Kenney, 73, of Spring Water Drive, Royston, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Greg was born in Monroe on June 27, 1953, son of the late Issac Hampton Kenny and Sara Clara Aaron Kenny. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and worked in the construction industry. 

He is survived by his companion of 16 years, Wanda Lee Murphy; son, Charlie Kenney; step-daughter, Ronda Hoofner; and step-son, James Hoofner.
