Vollie Allen Burks

Mr. Vollie Allen Burks, 68, of Poplar Springs Rd. Lavonia, GA husband of Brenda Boone Burks passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Anmed Hospital in Anderson, SC.

Mr. Burks was born November 24, 1947 in Clayton, GA to the late Vollie Henry Burks and Alma Burks. He was a retired custom van interior installer and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Boone Burks; sons Christopher Joseph Burks and Michael Allen Burks both of Lavonia, GA; sisters Sheron Futral of Lakeland, FL and Mary Lou Perry of Williamson, GA; grandchildren Alex McLeroy, Baylee Carson, Jacob Burks, and Presley Burks.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Berry Funeral Home & Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Vollie Allen Burks.
