Warren Scott Curtis

Mr. Warren Scott Curtis, 84, of Collier Church Rd., Comer, GA, husband of Elizabeth Wilkins Young Curtis, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at his home.

Mr. Curtis was born June 8, 1931, in Chicago, IL to the late Leslie Curtis and Eva Fay Fitzjerrell Curtis. He was a retired University of GA Professor and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Athens, GA.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Elizabeth Wilkins Young Curtis; sons: Gregory Curtis and Mark Curtis, both of Comer, GA; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, May 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Athens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Friday, May 13, at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East Chapel, in Athens.
