Wesley Lewis Moon

Mr. Wesley Lewis Moon, 55, of Hester Road, Elberton, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at his residence.

Wesley was born in Decatur on October 12, 1970, to the late Carl Lewis Moon and Linda Lee Savinsky Moon. He worked for many years as a top polisher in the granite industry, where his strong work ethic and dedication were well known.

Wesley had a passion for riding his Harley and enjoyed spending time with his partner in crime and childhood sweetheart, Julie. He loved tinkering with anything that needed fixing. Gifted with a remarkable mechanical mind, there was rarely a problem he couldn’t solve. He will be remembered for his captivating storytelling, quick wit, and ability to make those around him laugh. Above all, Wesley will be cherished for his caring nature, generous spirit, and heart of gold.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Surviving are his beloved companion of 26 years, Julie Blair; daughter and son-in-law, Lynzee and Richard Homan; brother, Carl Moon and his wife Leslie; and grandchildren: Zariah Smith, Zephyr Smith, Ranelle Homan, and Revyn Homan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 10, from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Funeral services celebrating Wesley's life will be conducted on Thursday, June 11, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Thomas Moon and Tim Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery, where he will be buried beside his late mother and father.
