William Edwin Hart

Mr. William Edwin Hart, 76, of Royston, GA passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the
St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.

Mr. Hart was born in Royston, GA on February 2, 1945, son of the late Robert “Pete” Hart and the late Lou Ellen Chastain Hart. He was a sandblaster having worked with Central Granite and attended Bethel Congregational Holiness Church in Royston, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Elizabeth Maxwell Hart; daughters, Lorrie Higginbotham (Steve) of Elberton, GA and Terrie Hart (Gene Mize) of Comer, GA; grandchildren, Katie York (Zach) of Hartwell, GA, Nate Peeples (Shelby) of Royston, GA, and Mark Higginbotham of Elberton, GA; great-grandchildren, Lincoln York, Landry York and Ridge Peeples; and brothers, Ricky Hart (Pam) of Carnesville, GA and Randy Hart (Norma) of Royston, GA.

Funeral services for Mr. Hart will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021, with Rev. Terry Wood officiating.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. The family is at the home.

Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Madison County Rotary Club Ramp Fund.
